Book Week & Book Fair
Every year our annual Book Week is celebrated with lots of dressing up and wonderful activities based on a variety of children's books. All students are invited to dress-up in their favourite book costume / Book Week Theme during the week and participate in the costume parade held in our school stadium.
We also host our annual Book Fair that runs over the course of three days. Books for all reading ages are sold at the Book Fair as well as lots of interesting stationery and posters. Dates to be advised through the school newsletter and Facebook.
Prep to Year 2 Christmas Concert
Every year we showcase our early years students’ talents with our very popular Christmas Concert. This event is usually held towards the end of Term 4 in our stadium which provides a fabulous venue for this community event. Students and teachers provide a high level of entertainment for parents and friends.
Every student from Prep to Year 2 are invited to be a part of this concert and the stadium is packed with family members coming along to watch. All parents are invited to attend this wonderful event.
P & C Fundraisers
Our wonderful P&C believe strongly in bringing our school community together. Every year they coordinate fundraisers including discos, Ready To Recycle Week, family movie nights, raffles, Mother's Day and Father's Day Stalls and an annual Colour Run which provides a lot of fun for all our parents, students, staff and wider community.
We are very lucky to have such a great P&C and thank them for all their effort year in and year out.
State of Origin
Staff and Students' Match
To get into the spirit of the annual State of Origin series, we hold a fundraising day where staff and students dress in their favourite sporting colours. A highlight of this day is the annual staff and students OzTag match, with Mrs Crowley's mighty blues competing against Ms Walkers' marvellous maroons.
Annual Awards Ceremony
At the end of Term 4 we host a special awards ceremony to recognise academic, citzenship, sporting and cultural achievements from Prep to Year 6. This also includes our Year 6 Graduation ceremony proceeded by the Year 6 Graduation Dance in the afternoon. All parents, carers and extended family members are welcome to attend this community event.
