Twilight Concert

Every year we showcase our students’ talents with our very popular Twilight concert. Students and teachers provide a high level of entertainment for parents and friends.

Our stadium provides a fabulous venue for this community event.

Every student in the school is invited to be a part of this concert and the stadium is packed with family members coming along to watch. The casual, community atmosphere is fantastic and our P&C do a wonderful job making sure everyone is well fed throughout the night.

The annual highlight is the staff finale. This year students were treated to a large group of staff members performing a sensational dance number to "What Does The Fox Say?".

P & C Fundraisers

Our wonderful P&C believe strongly in bringing our school community together. Every year they coordinate fundraisers including discos, family movie nights, raffles and a bi-annual Spring Fair which provides a lot of fun and entertainment for all our parents, students, staff and wider community.

We are very lucky to have such a great P&C and thank them for all their effort year in and year out.

State of Origin

Staff and Students' Match

To get into the spirit of the annual State of Origin series, we hold a fundraising day where staff and students dress in their favourite sporting colours. A highlight of this day is the annual staff and students OzTag match, with Mrs Hack’s mighty blues competing against Mrs Mooney’s marvellous maroons.

As part of our Healthy bodies and minds initiative, we aim to promote fun physical activities at Berserker Street State School. One of our most fun is the annual Walkathon. This event is run entirely by the school, but has been supported by the Central Queensland Comets Rugby League team, who put on guest appearances each year, completing the walkathon with the children.

Students have one hour to walk, run, hop or skip, completing laps of our course. To increase the fun level we bring in a large sound system, as well as giant beach balls and individual challenges. The walkathon raises money every year for our school and brings our entire school body, from Prep to Year 6, together in a single event. Preppies love their big ‘buddies’ from Year 6 completing the course with them.
